Palo officially announced that he was writing a diary from the North-German Tour. It was Monday 21st June, 10 am when we were crossing the bridge to Cieszyn, Poland. We started speaking proper Polish with Michael and Vojta was doing his best to speak it too.
Later that day, at about half past nine, we were standing barefoot on a beach in Kiel with Isi and Nina. We made it all the way and it felt good to watch the calm sea and relax for a while. Check out Vojta's blog for more.
On Tuesday, we got up, had breakfast and went to the beach again. In fact, I stayed in to play the guitar alone. Anyway, Johnny had an important exam that day, which meant he had to catch a plane from Vienna at about 4 pm and make it to the soundcheck in Kiel on time. And he did, thanks to Isi, I must say!
We played together with Jan Sievers, Wohnraumhelden and finally Torfrock! The backstage was great as usual and we were so hungry...
Wednesday was a free day spent on the beach in Kiel (again). In the afternoon we left for Hamburg. The place where we stayed later on was co cool... It's called Superbude and if you ever get the chance to stay in the city overnight, you should definitely check it out.
We were all lazy on Thursday and not many things happened except having an enourmous barbecue and taking part in the German football excitement.
I nearly forgot, we went to The Beatles Square and tried some busking there:
On Friday, the big gig in Hamburg city centre was scheduled. Read more about that in the next part of the Report.
